Can you import regulated products (food, beverages, pesticides, dangerous goods) — and what changes?

Accepted Answer

Yes — GRUPO AGGY works with regulated categories, but the process is stricter. Expect additional permits and clearances, more detailed labelling and compliance checks, and potential inspections and testing requirements. We'll tell you upfront what's required before you spend money on production or shipping.

How long will it take from payment to delivery in Mozambique?

Lead time depends on origin country, shipping method, and customs requirements. Typical drivers are supplier production time, shipping transit time (sea vs air), and customs clearance timing and inspections. We provide a realistic timeline early and keep you updated if anything changes — especially around port congestion, inspections, or missing documents.

What are the real total costs — what will I pay besides the product price?

Total landed cost can include: product cost + packaging, freight/shipping, insurance (recommended), customs duties/taxes + clearance fees, storage/handling (if goods wait at port or warehouse), and local delivery/transport. Do you accept credit terms, or do I need to pay everything upfront?

For many deals, payment terms depend on the supplier and risk profile. Options may include upfront payment, L/C (Letter of Credit), bank guarantees, or limited credit terms (15–30 days) for approved contract distributors and wholesalers. We'll confirm what's possible before you commit.
